Redefining Corporate Resilience: International Women's Day at HubSpot HQ (March 2025)
In March 2025, I partnered with the global tech company HubSpot to mark International Women’s Day. They invited me to their Berlin headquarters to conduct two back-to-back corporate workshops specifically focused on self-protection, boundary setting, and mental sovereignty.
When consulting for corporate teams in a condensed timeframe, my methodology is highly pragmatic. Rather than forcing a rigid, pre-packaged curriculum, I focus on laying down a solid foundation of essential physical and psychological principles. Once that groundwork is established, we immediately transition into a dynamic, practical Q&A format. We take the specific, real-world concerns and scenarios the participants bring up, and we address them through active, hands-on drilling instead of just theoretical lectures. This agile approach guarantees that the training delivers maximum relevance and immediate value to the team.
The atmosphere throughout the day was incredible - highly focused, yet completely relaxed and engaging. Breaking down the stigma that self-defense has to be intimidating or militaristic is a core pillar of Krav Maga Berlin. The feedback we received afterward perfectly summarized exactly what we strive to achieve in every corporate environment.
“First of all, everyone said how laid-back and funny you were. And second, everyone’s totally hooked now - they’ve already asked if we can do this on a monthly basis. Seriously, Felix, you’re doing a great job. Everyone felt super comfortable and said they thought some military guy was going to show up and start drilling them, but they were really pleasantly surprised.”
