The Architecture of Precision: European Security Academy (2023)
In 2023, I completed a rigorous three-day Combined Firearms Course at the highly renowned European Security Academy (ESA) in Poland. The ESA is globally recognized as one of the premier training facilities for elite security professionals and tactical operators.
Similar to my previous weapon instructor certifications, the hard technical skills of operating firearms are not what I teach in my daily consulting practice. I do not train corporate executives, educators, or private clients in tactical shooting. So, why do I continuously subject myself to these intense, highly specialized environments?
The answer is continuous growth. As a mentor, I must constantly step outside my own comfort zone and confront scenarios that are not part of my everyday routine. In environments where the margin for error is zero, you learn profound lessons about the architecture of safety.
This course was a masterclass in the absolute necessity of mastering the basics. It sharpened my understanding of executing with extreme precision, maintaining psychological balance under sudden stress, and (crucially) how to communicate and operate seamlessly as a unified group in volatile situations. The firearms stay on the range, but the psychological takeaways - composure, focus, and team cohesion - are the exact principles I translate directly into my corporate seminars and 1-on-1 coaching today.
