Following our successful pilot projects with the youth programs of Zukunftsbau GmbH (read more about the origins >here<), our partnership naturally evolved. Every year, Zukunftsbau organizes a comprehensive two-day professional development seminar for all their employees. Built on the deep trust established during our work with their students, we conceptualized a highly practical, two-day resilience and de-escalation seminar for a team of over 20 educators in November 2017.

The curriculum was strategically divided to build competence from the ground up. Day One focused entirely on personal physical sovereignty and self-protection. The core philosophy here is non-negotiable: you must be able to regulate your own nervous system and protect your own boundaries before you can effectively protect and guide others. The objective was to equip the staff with a complete, reliable toolkit of de-escalation options to safely navigate volatile situations.

Day Two shifted into applied stress inoculation. We utilized dynamic, scenario-based simulations to implement the physical mechanics learned the day before. Together, we analyzed typical behavioral patterns of aggression and pressure-tested various de-escalation strategies.

It was a profound experience to work with frontline teachers and social workers who already possess a deep psychological understanding of their field and regularly face real-world aggression. This exact seminar laid the foundational blueprint for the highly tailored Corporate Solutions and Social Impact training we deliver today.

To get a visceral sense of the training and the energy in the room, watch the video above - a compilation of our focus work from the first day, which now serves as a prime case study for our mission.
